Barracuda
It´s a large, predatory, ray-finned fish known for its fearsome appearance. Barracudas are targeted by sportfishing enthusiasts and unlike many other areas in the Caribbean, you can actually eat them! And they are great for eating!
Yellow Tail Jack
A very common fish in the Caribbean and strong as a tuna so they put you up for a fight. Although they aren't the best eating fish in Bocas del Toro, they are still very fun to catch!
King Mackerel
The king mackerel or kingfish is a medium-sized fish, typically encountered from 5-14 kg. A very common strong and fast fish in this area.
Mahi Mahi
We think the most beautiful of all. Swift and acrobatic game fish with striking colours. Mahi mahi is a surface-dwelling ray-finned fish found in off-shore temperate, tropical and subtropical.
Tuna
It's strong, beautiful and delicious. A tuna is a saltwater fish that belongs to the tribe Thunnini. An active and agile predator, the tuna has a sleek, streamlined body, and is among the fastest-swimming pelagic fish - the yellowfin tuna, for example, is capable of speeds of up to 75km/h.
Wahoo
A voracious predator and good dinner.
It is best known to sports fishermen, as its speed and high quality flesh makes it a prized and valued game fish.
